Why I Chose to Start My Own Practice

People often ask me why I decided to open my own practice. The simple answer? It came down to providing the kind of care I truly believe in, and living a life that allows me to be present for my family and my patients.

Here is a little more about what led me here:

More time and flexibility with my family
As a mom and small-town girl at heart, I deeply value family. Owning my practice means I can build a schedule that lets me show up for my family when it matters most, while still being fully dedicated to my patients.

More time with each patient
I never wanted to rush through appointments or keep visits limited by the ticking clock. By running my own practice, I can spend the time needed to really listen, understand your story, and develop a thoughtful plan, without feeling pressured to move on to the next room.

A small-town girl who loves a small-office feel
I grew up in a small town, where healthcare was personal.  Your provider knew your name, your family, and your story. That is the environment I strive to create here: warm, welcoming, and centered around meaningful connections.

Caring for the whole person, not just the migraine
While I specialize in migraine care, I believe in treating the whole person. That means looking beyond the headache to factors like sleep, nutrition, stress, hormones, and overall lifestyle. My goal is to help you feel your best in every area of life.

Handling prior-authorizations quickly and efficiently
In bigger systems, insurance paperwork can get lost in the shuffle. By managing these authorizations in-house, I can ensure they are completed promptly so there is less delay in getting you the treatments you need.

Reaching more patients in need of migraine care
Migraines are often misunderstood and undertreated. I started my own practice with the hope of reaching more people who are struggling, providing specialized care that truly makes a difference, and being an advocate every step of the way.

Thank you for trusting me with your care. It is an honor to be part of your journey toward better health and fewer migraines.
